This is the main issue with japanese mangaka and editorials.
Once they managed to hit a somewhat interesting manga and gain a sizeable fanbase, they will stretch the plot as long as they can in order to milk the fluke for as long as they can.

It should be pretty easy for the school to revoke her club membership on grounds of blatantly false and slanderous reporting. It should be even easier for the president to get that done since the article called her a victim. That this whole thing wasn’t ended a while back is currently the worst part of this manga in my opinion.

Honestly, I just want library girl to manage to woo the MC. That’s the only reason I’m still here. I like none of the characters except her and mom. All this excess drama just makes it harder to enjoy the scenes with library girl.
