The poll I was talking about was Anime-Japan's "Manga We Want To See Animated" rankings (https://www.anime-japan.jp/main/ajranking/) -- Oresama Teacher nabbed the 24th place!
I really hope it does get an anime, there's so much POTENTIAL hnnnngh this is the biased bunny in me speaking again, but the world could use some of the pure and positive vibes that OT has to offer. I feel like I've re-read this series a gabajillion times and it still hasn't failed to make me laugh XD

I've got good news! It seems that the extra chapter is added to the digital version of volume 29! It was literally mentioned on the version title, but I didn't notice it earlier (>w<)

What I don't have is a copy of the Special Drama CD that came with the Hana to Yume magazine which has an additional "after story" and the artbook that came along with the physical release of Volume 29 in Japan huhuhu maybe one day we'll find it o(TT^TT)o
