In addition to the corrupted pages what's up with the awkward grammar and word choices? "a bee's beehive?" seriously? It's "a beehive" or "a bee's hive", pick /one/ of those. Some awkward sentence structure in there too that looks like just directly translating from Japanese without trying to rework the sentences into something resembling regular English.

They accidentally replaced the whites with transparencies.

You can read the pages, but only on Light theme. It's fucking stupid, but you can read them.

You have to swap between light and dark mode for a readable chapter!
