Oshikake Twin Tail - Vol. 1 Ch. 6 - Showing thankfulness

I could make that kind of profit in stocks too, in old Zimbabwe dollars!

Cats wag their tail when they're angry. Dogs wag their tails when they're happy. Don't mix the two.

so just FYI, cats don't waggle it's tail when they're happy. they waggle it when they're wary/angry, actually.
cat's tail is straight/erect when they're happy.

@SteveJust ah...another man of culture

Cute.
And even if not entirely... Accurate (see below I guess lol), it's still cuter. Time for headpats ☺️

@SteveJust @Mogima @Otakuman706 Given her further reaction, maybe she wasn't happy about the praise but rather annoyed that he was being so close? XD
(It interferes with cooking if you have to work around someone hanging over your neck, even if they praise you at the same time.).

And I guess momma feels she's had plenty enough of home cooking and wants to try that delivery service. :eek:

@Simpleton It showed on the text bubble that she was blushing, so I think she was happy, even if it isn’t accurate for cats. She only got irritated when he tried to taste it.

@ali3rd I mean, Lucky Star started with them that young. Now they still more or less look like that but are in the college age range? Hell, even in the start it was like, the working adults in that series gave you a "I'm going to jail" vibe if you looked at them as adults haha.

Everyone in Lucky Star was in high school, for the record. (Except for the policewoman, the schoolteacher, Konata's dad, and the duo from Lucky Channel, of course).

More precisely, dogs wag their tails to get your attention, like a "hey." Could be happy ("heythereohmygodILOVEYOU"), could be wary ("Hey, uh...we're still cool, right?"), could be fearful/angry ("Hey asshole! You see me over here, right? Great! Now fuck off so we don't have to fight!"). The height of the tail, the ears and the hips carry most of the details.

Cats wag the end of their tails because they're agitated. If the tail is straight up high, that's usually happy; if it's low, that's usually fear or anger. If they're lashing the whole tail back and forth, that's "Imma pounce on this toy/playmate/prey animal and kill it." But they're cats, so they might be killing you happily or angrily or out of sheer psychotic interest. Cats is cats.
