Ossan Boukensha Kane no Zenkou - Vol. 2 Ch. 6 - Princess Ana gifts Kane with a quest...?

Everytime is see Abel with his cute collar i think he would better fit as a lover than a rival, lul xD

@Rift just saying it's a possibility too. Honestly the author probably hasn't fully fleshed out the order of events themselves when they got here in the novel.

why is the flashback part so faded out? also some bits didn't quite make sense so might wanna proofread the Altena bit of that flashback

@wolvenworks I read it it was okay, its faded coz its like than in original as its memories of his, and all text makes sense though in 2 places I would change few words, but translation said as it is there soooo :D

@Hunlight ah ok that makes sense if it was originally faded but that itself is a very weird choice since normally flashbacks aren't faded out by mangakas. that's why i was wondering if there was something wrong with that.

btw abt the required proofreading i meant pg 38. Altena said "this was person that you gave your life to protect". would make more sense to me if you added "the" there --> "this was the person....", but the sentence itself even after that didn't quite make sense to me in a way i guess

the Saintess mentioned before "it is not Heroism that will defeat the Evil God but Kindness.." and now we have a Goddess of Kindness? maybe a coincidence, or translation mistake, but this makes me curious about the Evil God.

I can't imagine how annoying it would be to be a woman and have a friend like Maya around rubbing herself all over you, sniffing you, and leering at your scantily clad body as if it were her god-given right as a female friend.

So the evil god will turn to be some god of loneliness or bitterness in the end, huh?
KINO points for old god of kindness being the evil god.

If only the people in that world can gain exp or part of the defeated monster souls as a way to power up..
It was nice for Kane to finally reunite with the childhood friend who reborn as a deity..
There's a unicorn or.. Rapidash in the horde?

@DeadintheWater : The original basically said the nameless Goddess 'disappeared' from being forgotten by the people already.

From checking the RAW, some line seem to lost the impact in translation.
In particular the 'kindness' term, 善, which basically mean 'Good'/virtuous as well in that Good vs Evil sense.

The monologue switch actually happen from the start of that page (note the difference in textbox)
"For the sake of others,
For someone's smile"

"Even if you can't rank up, even if others mock you as [weed hunter], you continued being adventurer"

Middle panel actually say "I was watching over you"

The wish part actually was from BOTH of them (the raw explicitly has 'watashi-tachi' for the plural), their feelings of wanting to be together were recognized by the king of Gods

The bit after is fine, though I think a more literal translation would have bigger impact for the last line:
"I turned the kind/good(善) devotion offered into strength/power, and became a kind/good God (literally 善 + 神)"

In other word, it's his offered faith that turned her/gave her power into actual Goddess.
He 'created' his own Goddess who granted him her divine protection....
