She existed since ancient time and just want to grant people's wish, but her appearance became the 'demon king' we saw before and over time humans just kept treating her as evil and sealing her over and over.

Kane gave her a 'you're not evil' hug and now she's gained a semblance of sanity and is rather attached to him.
