A thought occurred to me that perhaps Kane would become a god too? I mean, his love interest, Altena, is a goddess, and his “daughter”, Noir, is a god of evil. With two family members already a god, Kane becoming a god might be fitting. And it’s not like there is no precedence of human becoming a god.

I think it would be quite moving to see Kane give up his life to save Noir and then be made a god.

I have no idea how it will play out, however. Currently, there is no way for Altena to be with Kane, so it is perhaps my wishful thinking that Kane would become a god to be with Altena. There is also a possibility with Altena wishing Kane happiness with Princess Ana (but I don’t like that. I can’t picture Kane loving Princess Ana at all. )

By the way, I find it fitting that the Demon king’s name is Dustard. He really is dastardly.
