well, that is the kind of guy he is, taking it up the arse and collapsing so he doesn't have to deal with it. but honestly the whole situation is pretty fucked. He can't support his daughter properly and no matter how much the kid asks she simply can't have the best of both worlds like "i want mommy and daddy to be together!" When mc told her to go, he already considered the kind of life she'd be leading under this new marriage as far better than what he can provide.
Nozomi did a fucked up thing but such is life. She understands this and took responsibility. But it's horrible to just push that child onto mc and then take the child away like it's nothing. She's literally using mc as some convenient tool she can push around ever since he was in high school. He's an easy target and always will be, but that's no excuse to treat him how she did.
