@Harouki No, they have the same meaning, but foreshadowing has a heavy connotation towards storytelling and forecasting has a heavy connotation towards meteorology. Hence, in this instance, "Foreshadowing" would be the correct term.

@kurisu I'm not sure what the Japanese was that got translated, but I'm pretty sure that he didn't leave the bandages there because he had a strong certainty she would injure herself, which is what "foretelling" would imply.
