Since when are they transliterating his name as "Yuuki" rather than "Yuki"? Did that happen silently at one point? I can distinctly remember taking notice that they made it "Yuki" in early chapters.

@trapsarebetter Yuki is a female name, while Yuuki is a male name, kinda like that. This gives the impression she started treating him more like a man.

@Lyohzeed 由季 is a girly form of the name, but it is his full name, it only gives the impression she started treating him as someone closer to her heart.

@trapsarebetter that happened during the Fireworks Display arc, read again the last 30 chapters or so.

From how this manga story until now, I think yuki is going to enroll/transfer to her school...
So its not as her bodyguard anymore but as friend (bf in the future) XD
Or so thats what I wish for

@kurisu so Mayu was actually calling him "Yuki" rather than "Yuuki" up till that point in the original Japanese text?

I thought it was a simple case of omitting the long vowel for simplicity's sake, as is often done.

@udesu I wish for that as well but i smell drama. Not sure what kind of drama but it would involve Yuki's "crossdressing problem".

(Its because he likes it but there is a reason he lives alone and has stopped going to school. That particular one.)

You obviously don't summarily stop supporting somebody right after a confrontation like that, even if it went "well"...? Like, it would be a great time to ask, "Do you think you want to go it alone now?", but...

Well, whatever, obviously it's drama time.

EDIT: Ah, just nonsensical bait on the author's part, I'm relieved. (Maybe foreshadowing too? If not then that was still an odd deviation in tone on Yuuki's part.)
