Didn't he already more or less give the answer? But at least this makes it even more clear since he's talking about moving on. I kind of doubt this series will continue so long that either of them would meet some totally previously unintroduced person to date, so I reckon the story will end with both Asuka and Kei without a romantic interest. I've said it before, but that would be a good ending in a realistic style.

I suppose You will berate Kei, though.
