It IS a comedy, so keep that in mind.
I was also thinking about that, though. I guess the reason the MC is overreacting is that from her perception from being a fan of romance books, stories, and romance games is that the heroine (or hero) ALWAYS WINS. So even if the games had fail states, she is most likely to remember what the end result for the win was.

Maybe if there was a Dark Souls equivalent of romance games she would remember how to cause the heroine to fail, but even then you run the risk of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

again this is so dumb like why does the protagonist keep thinking about fkin destruction flags and shit ._. it is her life now and she keeps looking at it like a fkin game are those relationships she made with those boys and girls mean nothing? and for all you know the heroine might be a nice person meaning another friend (edit: i wrote that when i was starting the chapter and when i reached midway i just couldnt help but feel the need to comment that she is a complete moron who doesnt give a shit about the fact that its her LIFE and not a GAME and keeps thinking about stupid shit)
