A reminder that the spinoff is only more interesting than the original because you already know the original. Without the original, this spinoff would literally drown alongside the numerous other otome manga with similar premises.

For example, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is to me a better game than the main series. But I would never had played had I not played the main series first.

Also, yeah I like what's going on here. Keith can't trust Katarina while Katarina is trying to fix her broken family.

LOL everyone likes this version more than the OG and I guess I'm the only one who kind of doesn't atm cause theres barely a change in characters.....since bakarina made friends with a girl who was not part of the OG crew I ended up thinking we'd be seeing new chars but I guess not really, still good series but OG is best atm

Damn, Katarina is playing on a much harder mode... I actually like the new drama it introduces, tbh. The other version, where she transmigrates when she's young, is really fun but has very little drama in it. This one is forcing Katarina to use her brain more, since she can't instantly heal people's pain when they're young. Making Katarina deal with their damaged older selves is interesting!

Also, is it just me or does Katarina's father (a total DILF, btw) look a LOT like an older Gerald? Kinda makes me think that's why she and Gerald are being set up as end-game, hah!

Although in this version, I kinda hopes Katarina ends up with the swordmaster-teacher... he's got AND new to this version! Let Gerald get a nice, sharp taste of jealousy for once!

@dokidoki I think it’s because in the OG series, it’s gotten to the point that any conflicts that appear are pretty much already solved because Katarina has built up such strong relationships with all the characters. I think that’s why most people prefer this series now

I love this version more. Don’t get me wrong I fell in love with the original story but this one shows much emotion in it. I can sympathise with everyone, Keith’s hatred for his family, Katarina trying her best, the duchess hating the duke and the duke who’s still uncomfortable yet hoping for their family to be whole again. This spin-off is the polar opposite of the main story where it shows the characters that we used to love with their goofiness and laughter can also have a multi-dimensional personality that we can relate somehow.

Damn this sure is Bakarina in hard mode, it sure is gonna be tough mending the relationship...

I love both the original and this spin-off, the original focus more on comedy and Bakarina being Bakarina, while this one is less comedy and takes on a more serious sides of the story.
