@Asbolus As was mentioned, Lady Claes believes that Keith is her husband's bastard. For whatever reason, Lord Claes never explained the truth; presumably, for all that he seems a pretty decent guy, he's a product of his upbringing where the head of household's word is law. In the main story (where Katarina gets her past life's memories back at age 8), this was resolved fairly quickly when Katarina purposefully took Keith in to avoid this exact situation. Here, though, that obviously didn't happen, so the misunderstanding persists.

Omg. Everyone just forgets this part because OG Bakarina had fixed the Keith issue early on and convinced her mum that dad didn't cheat. But now she has to make Keith warm up to the family and fix her parents broken marriage. Jeez this is the Hard level, all right.

Also, because in the main story there are too many harem members, we don't get to see a lot of romance, but here we see their individual dynamics more. And is that Geordo/Gerald getting jealous?

I wonder how she'll convince her mom that Keith is not her father's illegitimate child. I mean it might be difficult for her mom to suddenly start believing him after all these years of conflict between them, even if Katarina cleared the misunderstanding.

Reading this made me glad that the Keith in the main story is happy. Her family's route is definitely the toughest one here.
