Treating the MC as a protag of a time-travel story makes him more likeable to me. He's trying not to screw up the timeline he wants to occur too badly, at least as it pertains to people he likes. His sister being there and deliberately trying to make massive changes throws things out the window so he gives up on "maintaining" the timeline to focus on "correcting" it.

Plus, he is at least a little self-aware as regards to not being the nicest kind of guy and his reputation of deciding to go all in on playing the "villain". Gets in the mindset of "The girls deserve someone better than me" rather than "I need to get my shit together and be a better man, for my sake and theirs."

MC has some of fault here, but he is also not totally wrong. He is afraid to deviate the story that much from the original because that would mean they will have to deal with an "end of th world scenario" withou the necessary means to stop it.

Livia needs to find "True Love", as cliche as it sounds, because that its one of the requisites for her to unleash her power, but AT THIS POINT of the story, he can't become said True Love because there are many barriers between them, both emotional and social.

So, if HE can't be her True Love, then he had to step aside while trying for Livia to find love with one of the original targets, because they should have the highest chance to attain it.

Yes, things change later in story, but again, AT THIS POINT, its a really high risk, not only for him, but for the entire world, if he try to become Olivia's lover.

But that is just my opinion.

honestly its not that its high risk, its that leon doesnt want to meddle in peoples affairs..... even though that is what he has kept doing all this time.
Partner has been great at calling him out on his BS all this time, which is why Partner is the best character in the series.

@JuliusCV nah what leon was doing was simply a simple thing compared to what leila does cause she really forced her sister to marry that bastard also both leon and marie already mess up the story specially marie so i don't think it's possible for those 5 idiots to fall in love on livia when they had nothing to feel on her cause they somewhat think she's leon woman and they are fucking devoted on marie that they fucking like to waste money every single time just to impress her when it all does is nothing but trouble
