Otoyomegatari - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Bride and Groom

1 thing : her name is アミル・ハルガル = Amiru Harugaru = Amir Halgal . I dont understand why the translators rolled with Amira Hergal .

The Art is beautiful, the setting intriguing, and our Heroine refreshingly Badass, there's tragically too few genuinely awesome female characters that are allowed to stay that awesome.

"Central Asia" ... "Caspian Sea" ...
The fuck? Isn't the Caspian sea at the absolute furthest west extreme of anything that could possibly be lumped into Asia? I mean no matter how you look at it, at the very most generous it would be "Western Asia"... though honestly I wouldn't count it as being in Asia at all. I think the furthest west country I think of as being in Asia is probably Pakistan.

ANYWAY... the art is really nice, and that lady is pretty cool. Probably one of Genghis Khan's descendants.
But given the location, I do hope they don't bring religion into this... or at least that she is Tengrist or something.

@realdice : You should probably just try not talking shit at all.
Anyhow, I did look it up. This is all over and done with ages back.

idk man, it doesnt feel right to see a 12 yr old getting married to a 20 yr old but ill give it a chance since its quite interesting.

@daywithoutgames
The last name I'm not sure, but the first I think it's because "Amir" is a masculine name in the language this is settled in, and in many other languages as well. "Amira" is the feminine counterpart.

Kaoru Mori here really be do flexin' how good she draw on the very first panel of her new series
based
