I am kinda fed up with this progression, Assuming 12 chapter = 1 volume then this would be on 11th volume without a kiss or anything else related to romance

*laugh* This thing isn't slice-of-life; it's unanchored and rudderless, with the author having no grand story arc but just composing on an ad hoc basis. Þe olde Conflict is back, as if there were a grand arc, but back in flashback. 'cause that Conflict was allowed to wither-away in the time-line, 'cause there was no grand arc.

With the arc structure so far, I am having a hard time to think that this is a Slice of Life.

Slice of life normally composed with fluff, meanwhile this thing had way too many drama than the actual slice of life.

Story does progress based on the drama but it was too infuriatingly slow.

@imkyo Easy to say, but the story can't make up its mind. Every time you start thinking oh, it's just a slice of life, it will inject a little reminder that the two leads have more than just friendly feelings for each other, then let it drop again. Which is not only annoying, but frankly seems unrealistic to me; once you fall for someone you don't just remember that every couple of weeks, it consumes you.

And in all honesty, the raws are up to 182 and i will be surprise if we see a kiss in the meantime, even more a confession. The obvious part wherewecanget progression is Valentine's day but it's before Ch.171. Also if you're not interested in the flashback, note that it last till Ch.129.

I'm skipping the flashback so thanks for telling.
I have read the raws to 170?, so yeah intimately progress is slow, although mentally its already seen since festival arc Nobara already know she loves Yukino and wants to be her gf.
Too bad Yukino is dense and Nobara is not as active as pursuing and expressing feelings as Sakurako from futary beya

While I wasn't particularly a fan of many of the other side arcs (especially the ones with that impersonator bitch), this one does feel genuinely like a good arc. I can only that the main ship's progression speed increases after all this.
