The chapter seems good but I feel that commoners should just be using guns since they can't use magic (unless guns are costly or created by magic). Also, I wish they prolonged the intro rather than skipping ahead 10 years within one chapter (maybe give us a chapter or two of his training but they still might do that it's just less convenient to jump forward then back rather than glide.
