I'm having trouble believing that with a classroom full of witnesses for Kana's death, who all have phone logs of text messages from an unknown number exactly detailing the methods and times of death for this string of "suicides" that the police would just blow this all off.

There's a ton of evidence here to back up the crazy story, no matter how crazy is is.
