I swear, these kids are goddamn immortal. And I'm still waiting for Nikaku to show some of this rumoured viciousness. I mean, they say he's a killer, but the only confirmed murders in the series so far were done by Jousuke and Yoshiki. Is Nikaku the guy who chops up the bodies for disposal, or something?

Christ, Nikaku benching 300kg at 17 years old. And this was before he became even stronger in juvie , so who knows how strong he is at this point.
But Meguro mentioning the fact that he has a weak spot might give him a chance to beat him. I have a feeling, which would kinda suck since Nikaku is one of my favorite characters. But if he had no weak spot he would be unbeatable, so I guess it's fair.

In Homer's Iliad maybe the oldest epic battle story in the world,
both of the 2 strongest warriors in the Greek army, Achiles and Aias, were considered invincible and they had only one
part of their body as their sole weakness.
I think the same applies for Siegfried from the German mythology.
It's an epic way to kill someone really badass.

Everybody calls Nikaku this crazy brutal fuck, but so far he has been one of the chillest and nicest characters in the cast.

brain/smart - checked
Ruthlessness - hes famous for it
Power/strength - triple checked
Seriously this guy is an absolute beast in every aspect. He's way too strong the author had to give him a sustained injury from that accident to give other people some chances against him. Yoshiki was lucky he beat this guy in his younger day before he transformed into the King Kong he is right now.

Err, flashback with him covered in blood wielding a chopper knife together with Jousuke isn't enough? It has been mentioned several times that he's been 'handling' people with his boss up until his death. Also, he had the worst eyes in the series so far a few chapters back, and guess who's had the same eyes? Yeah, it's Jousuke all right. Add his sporadic bestial glare of someone who doesn't really look sane to boot, and, well, I don't even know if that's not enough. This guy almost gives me the chills.

I have zero recollection of this flashback, which doesn't mean that I doubt you, I just have a shitty memory. There's the eye thing for sure, but it feels like half the cast does the geometrically challenged eye thing, so I don't take that very seriously anymore. Until now, with Meguru confirming it, we mostly had Kai's word on Nikaku's ruthlessness, and Kai isn't the most trustworthy fellow. Whenever I've expected Nikaku to snap or act ruthlessly, he's responded calmly instead.

Well, let's see, I don't remember the specific chapter number, but if wasn't too long age (numerical-wise). The was a chapter about Nikaku and in it was featured a two-page series of random flashbacks, like him w/ his brother, talking with 7th Gen, and a few of him with Jousuke, one of which is the one I mentioned.
