Everyone's just fucking backstabbing one another, I can't tell what the fuck is happening anymore. Is Taguchi thinking of killing Meguro so he can stay as a trusted mole in Kyoranko, while also having lowered its fighting strength towards Kilihito, due to the death of Nikaku? I really don't think Tanzawa gave a single fuck about Meguro anymore. He left the group, and to Tanzawa, that means he's "out." He had his goons "protect" Meguro for the sake of provoking Kyoranko to attack him, thus tricking them into exposing themselves in order to kill someone who wasn't even participating in the war. Likewise, he may be manipulating Taguchi, knowing he'll do anything to ultimately prove his loyalty and be allowed back "in."
