Overgeared - Ch. 56

Ahhhh, fuck yeah. This is the chapter I've been waiting for. Thanks for the translation

TEDDY BEAR: Almost the same with the Amber doll but instead of doing a cutesy dance it break dances and instead of blowing its self up it blows up the enemies head within a certain range caused by the exaggerated swagger of the bear.

yeaaaah.... he is kinda overpowered... jeesh, might as well give him a title "raid boss". "Psychopath Raid Boss" xD

Teddy bear: don para para - don para para. (makes you dance like the dragonball GT 'villains' )

Teddy Bear - causes confusion while looked at ignoring status immunity as long as you look at it. Transforms into a giant killer bear with a AOE fire aura and attacks while constantly attacking a ability that gives it higher attack speed a return dmg taken. When user gets low hp does a dance that forces enemies to attack it, taunt, ignoring others regardless of aggro, also ignores status immunity.

@Haiuli no, he's not OP. Just as the president of Satisfy says in the LN, Pagma's Descendant has to be strong to be considered a Legendary class. However, it is still the weakest out of the Legendary classes. So the real OP shit is in the other Legendary classes that have yet to be found by anyone (Disclaimer: I haven't read that far ahead, so idk if they even find the others). In fact, you can tell it's the weakest because of the quest that leads to getting it. He just needed to fill specific requirements and he could get the needed info to find the class book. It might've been lucky for him to get it early on, but it wouldn't be weird for just a random guy to get it when the average player level was higher.

@MrWaffleTheWaffle ok I get you... dunno why you think that other legendary classes are the ones that are really op though, since you said you haven't seen any in the novel? But I understand, in this novel's context his class is not really OP.

...that being said, being able to use any gear as low level, having complete immunity to all status debuffs... normally just those two abilities would warrant using word overpowered. 😆

That sword makes absolutely jack zero sense and would be massively broken in any world. The Giant Guild member was explicitly not hostile to Grid. Only Grid viewed ANY of them as an enemy. And he apparently viewed all of them as an enemy, so he got the attack bonus for all of them.

He could literally view the entire world as his enemies, get a massive attack boost, and then kill one single target before changing his mind. This is kind of crap.

Other than that, I kind of dislike how the story is going, but that's just me. I actually don't really like the Tzedakah Guild (I don't like the Giant Guild either, but that's separate).

That's right everyone, please don't let pregnant women read this manga. It could cause a miscarriage.

@Haiuli I forgot to specify that part, but I meant that the president of Satisfy literally did say his class is the weakest in combat when compared to the other Legendary classes. The fact of the matter is though, his ability to use any item shouldn't be all that powerful. I mentioned it before, but MC got the class way before it was even expected, meaning the overall level of users is lower than was anticipated. If it wasn't, then there'd probably be smiths capable of making Grid level gear (even if not as easily). This means there would be people capable of using his gear without the penalty, which would make his item-using ability a lot less useful. There's other reasons why he is a lot more powerful than he was supposed to be originally though.

Should people with swords hit people with swords in sword hitting people online? Stay tuned to hear idiots discuss this completely sensible topic.

This news channel is pretty dumb ain't it? A blacksmith defending himself is a psycopath, while the mage helping the blood church sacrifice virgins is a great celebrity?

what sensitive people
it's just a massacre in a game lol
and they started it by unhinging a hinge

@shancealot
Technically he wasn't defending himself. He attacked them first because the guy who was in charge of winning him over was being a nonchalant asshole. They hardly attacked him because that wasn't what they were sent there to do. Most of the panel they shown desperately trying to survive .
