It is likely safe to say that her presence is indispensable to the Web novel story at large.

Marie Rose is a pure vampire, she's the last child of the 9th Great Demon and also stronger than her. They learn of vampire cities where the pavranium is guarded and begin to raid them, staying away from certain ones due to Marie Rose's strength and fear of encountering her. This leads to Grid reaching and defeating other vampire lords/dukes/etc and he gains the title of 'Blood King' along with items that allow him to summon and form relations with the former vampires. The Marie Rose story line isn't finished yet, even 1380+ chapters in, and it's one I hope to see finished. There's no romance between them as they haven't encountered each other since this, besides once I believe, so there hasn't been a chance.

Best girl Mercedes hasn't even been introduced yet.
