Overlord - Vol. 11 Ch. 43

@alacaelum I see, you do have a point. Especially once you compare it to something like Kengan Asura it might feel lacking. Well I guess it’s something you pick up on when you read too much detailed fighting mangas. But it’s not as bad as you put it there’s effort put into the fights.

@MrSpoon If i sounded to displeased with the art let me clarify this, i do like the art and think that the artist that is doing the manga is really competent, i just think he/she should do better, but well i will still read and have fun just wanted to say this because there is some time already that this thought was on my mind.

Some artists that i think do really well with the aspects that i pointed, in my opinion, are Fujita Kazuhiro, Oh Great, Arakawa Hiromu, Tanabe Yellow those are some that have an amazing dynamic on their art, even if can detect some repetition in the the movements they still have that feeling of weight and speed that I talked.

Here a bonus artist that i discovered recently, Akutami Gege, author of jujutsu kaisen a manga that i have high hopes for.

IMHO some bits require proofreading. found a bunch of minor, very obvious typos

get it peer-reviewed if possible. amazing what a second opinion can do

Its going slow bcs you compared it to the anime, which cut more less like just the highlight to keep the story going and they got/had so much money to speed up the next on going season.

The anime was great bcs of theres an actual voice to make the char alive unlike the manga/LN and some of u like it bcs its going fast to catch up with the novel so u would feel like finally getting to know what the spoilers and memes out there talking about and not getting anxious anymore to see them.

The manga was great bcs of theres a great visualization of the char unlike the anime/LN and some of u dont like it bcs its going slow since its taking a whole lot of panel for the text to fit in to get the story going, plus its a monthly release with much more longer wait with the double issue and holidays issue; point is its not like they dont care with the manga, its just takes more time in entirely.

Im not writing this as an offense; we were all here to give opinions. I like them all three, but so-bin sama illustration is the one i like the most hahahahah

@Wolvenworks yeah I realize, I am kind of working solo so QC and proofreading is kind of also my responsibility. However I am terrible at both because my brain kind auto complete sentences so most of the time I can’t notice bad or even incomplete sentences.

i would like a QC though, some of those errors kills me once someone points them out.

@MrSpoon i would volunteer, but i have a job. it leaves me spent tired most of the time. being stuck on the road 1 hour each going to and from office while being weak to motion sickness sucks

@Wolvenworks wow that sucks, can't imagine working with motion sickness in this day and age especially with your driving time.
I remember hearing about glasses that can help you with that somewhere not so long ago.

@episode
Ill agree that each adaptation has its own merits, and that the manga has been superiorly adapted than the anime that just rushed through stuff.
But to say the manga has better characterization than the LN, I find this claim not only dubious but outright fallacious!

@boag what i mean with that point is that in the form of visualization not characterization (i wrote "visualization of the char" not "characterization"; its different) since its a fact that the description of char in the LN is downright way better than the manga no doubt. What i said with visualization is the way the story being told by the drawing/visual which differs from the LN that being told by the writings that was left to us readers to visualize that in the form of our imagination by reading it.

Peace out.
