This seems more like a joke SCP.
For those not familiar with Australia, accidents with Kangaroos are very common (fast, blend in to environment, high speed limit in rural areas, hidden by roadside foliage etc), so the "joke" is them getting revenge for it.

This actually happened on a street near where I live.

Only it wasn't a "kangaroo crossing" sign; it was an "autistic adult" sign.

It was kind of disturbing.

And we didn't know what to do with the car after we drove it off.
