To be able to let go... Mc is so amazing. Wishful thinking, my dear. I believe the mc himself knows it's something impossible to happen.
I reluctantly kinda like the emperor. I don't feel the stupid emperor-vibe such as 'all must bow before me' or 'it's an honour to be like by me' or something. It's obvious the previous emperor sticks to his words and thus the changes in the current life compared to the previous one.
