@Emerfirek That is more like a pun of absurd humor directed to the readers, for example, in Sundome it was pretty common to see the logo of the series plastered in different places, even on the shirts of the characters or my favorite one that is about the members of the Roman Club going to the store where Hideo works and then Kattsun reading the first volume of Sundome, a volume where he is a frequent character since the first chapter. So, if you are a follower of this mangaka since a long time ago then you will appreciate those sort of visual jokes and references.

The USA is the only country in the developed world that circumcises young children for non-religious reasons. And the "phimosis" Japanese are so fixated on isn't true phimosis but simply the foreskin not retracting totally, something common in young children. Only extreme cases of actual phimosis do require circumcision, which is the only case in which circumcision is actually an advisable procedure. In my opinion religious, and bizarrely, non-religious circumcision (in the USA) is nothing short of genital mutilation. If adults want to do it for any reason, sure. But forcing it on children is simply cruel.
