Of course she can't remember, because author has clearly been way out of his league for telling creative stories, the beginning didn't rely on much creativity so it was good but now that he needs to think it's different, He had a choice to drag shit on with overdone amnesia trope or go different route, but with his incompetence he can't make anything new so he just reuses the old tropes to get more chapter $$$ for minimum creativity.
