Additionally, correlation does not equal causation would have been an argument if there were good enough statistics to claim that there is a correlation in the first place. Research on the topic is all over the place.

@criver I've encountered so many people with bullshit statistics, now I just assume they have some prepared and avoid stepping on the landmine, and I definitely don't have the motivation to tell them why their info is biased when they might not even be open to new information in the first place.

It wouldn't amount to rape at all. This person is just applauding the main character's decisiveness and resolve as opposed to other harem MCs that act "thoughtful" when they're really acting "dense" for the sake of creating drama so that the manga can continue.
