That is not how relationships work. Even if you win this competition the woman has to reciprocate. I can for a fact say she will reject the offer. I want to drop it but there are what, 3 or 4 chapters left?

I can't help but agree with you about the series and, in particular, this arc, but there appear to be 15 more chapters according to mangadex and myanimelist.
