Ancient fantasy china and all their alchemists don't know of the holy way of concocting pills? Only liquid form? What travesty is this?

@GarryCarryBarry It seems like this setting might be hybrid western-esque fantasy & chinese wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan, given the magic-casters with robes and staffs from a few chapters ago. I think when they say alchemy it's more like the potion-brewing kind common in western-esque fantasy settings (and thus not the standard Chinese fantasy variant which is generally in pill form, which is what she makes).
