Peerless Alchemist - Ch. 68

It just occurred to me that if the "State Master" was a woman, 'her' behavior would seem conniving and manipulative. To seem so innocent, gentle and fragile, while having the capacity to run an entire state and issue orders to agents behind the scenes. For the very least, the trope of "two-faced-woman" is so over-used, that it would not be as forgettable as having the main guy do so.

That being said, the character of main-guy is quickly breaking apart the more appearances his other identity as the state-master comes to light. It's getting progressively harder and harder to ignore the levels of which the author fucked up on the romantic partner of the MC. I just hate this romantic subplot so frigging much, it is so horribly done in comparison to the okay-level execution of the rest of the story.

xD That "Fondle" sound effect sure does sound suggestive, considering he's only touching her destroyer armor...
