So what did she do to his body exactly? At first it seemed like she messed up his training, but later he seems fine? I don't get it.
 
@Atmosk I think Noya was referencing how he was trained by Mo Wei, then the woman (Chun Soso, I think?) 'opened his veins', if I understood it correctly.
 
@Geraludorolo It's like a Kung Fu underworld of sorts. The normal folk don't see it, some even think it either doesn't exist or died out in modern times. If you watched "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story" they're represented by the Peers that try to dissuade Bruce Lee from teaching the martial arts to the "American public."
 
@Geraludorolo Murim is a common term in Korean fantasy martial arts stories. (Also, I am also pretty sure this is supposed to be set in China even though it's a Korean work)
