Even better - his girlfriend misinterpreted a sign at an evil shrine by accident at the beginning before all this and prayed/ gave offering which made him sterile.

Honestly though with magic of elves or something I could see any sterile problems go away, this is a magic world after all. But key thing here is id any actually got pregnant they would brag and the news would wreck the story cuz it'd be widespread that the strongest dude is a cheater.
