Philia to Eros no Aida - Ch. 10

Kurumi isn't making great choices here I think, but it is probably for the best that Nika and Jun talk things out at some point anyway.

Poor MC, I think she's doing the right thing and she's back to being a cinnamon roll who deserves better than a gf who is still thinking about the other dude, but seriously tho I have no clue why she's still hanging out with that dumb bitch who spilled out everything after following her and eavesdropping cause if my friends did that they'd 100% wouldn't be my friends anymore smh

It's a bit possessive still to literally try to force her into a relationship with Jun, especially after she just presented a handmade knitting project to you as a gift.

Oof, my heart... Why does young love gotta be so messy? Even if the timing is awful, I still feel like it's a good call for Kurumi to be honest. Even if it hurts a bit at the start, it'll be better in the long run.

@mmosimca she’s not forcing her, basically what she’s saying is “I want to be the most special person in the world for you. Before this can even happen, you have to make things clear with him deciding WHO you want to be with. Confirm your feelings first.”

If she talks to Jun and there she understands that the love for the short haired girl is stronger, when she’ll tell the FMC she’ll be more than happy to be a couple again.

You know, maybe the possessive one is the long haired girl: being a childhood friend, Jun is special to her; but she’s confusing this feeling for love, and being scared of him going away, she tries to become her girlfriend so he doesn’t totally “run away” from her.

My two cents? She knitted the scarf because she wanted to AND thinking about her, not him; she just have to realize.

Firstly, thanks to the translator team for bundling these last 3 chapters together, having to digest 8 and 9 on their own would've hurt. It's really quite the contrast, seeing how Kyou, Jun, and Yuu are handling their feelings of secretly loving their longtime friend; Kurumi being caught in the middle of it is just tearing the poor girl apart. The fact that Yuu spent so much time making a gift for Kurumi speaks volumes though; she might not feel the same as Kurumi does, but given time I really think she could; she's said as much that she wants to, and i don't think it's fair to her to constantly doubt that. Kyou trying to sabotage their relationship isn't helping matters though, seriously bitch needs to BTFO, maybe take a hint from Jun and keep her distance and try to move on.

Kurumi is so based. she doesn't fucking deserve this. i just want my gay girl to be happy

better for yuu to clear up her feelings and reject her than kurumi to be paranoid about if they're going to break up tbh

That was very mature of Kurumi despite the fact that she was mostly doing it for herself. She could have hidden her feelings and just denied the whole thing but instead she laid everything bare and confronted the issue.

I would really like for them to actually split up here amicably because in reality high school sweethearts don't typically stay together long after graduating anyways so this would be a great subversion of the norm for yuri manga and could be a great moment of growth for Kurumi. All that being said I expect them to stay together and Kyou will just get the short end of the stick because that's always what happens
