I am downright ASTONISHED at the logic of the eldest brother. Child has pissed off the gods and will be smitten. The gods have a penchant for smiting with lightning, I guess? SEND CHILD TO PLACE WITH LIGHTNING RODS SO THEY DON'T GET SMOTE, and by extension the forest with them.
