I read it kinda different, though. More than the guy, Riko is questioning all the people who love her. She says the one who hates her, is the one who understands her.

It's somehow reminding me to yagakimi.

@lnomsim I second @aleigh45's rec of nanairo kakumei though it is a lot more frustrating than this manga.
As far as the Goldfish Kingdom recommendation goes, the other mostly completed manga by that author, Imitation Crystal, are all really good. They're kind of similar to this one in how they explore not-always-pleasant but interesting relationships between the characters.
You might also like Abe Tomomi's works; this kind of story would fit right in with her works.
