@Yumecchi lol yes for some reason I already think the MC is not blood related to her siblings because She looks totally different compared to the rest of her family.

The Duke is shady AF, but you gotta give him respect for counter-attacking the tea splashing. Usually in these situations the men who sees the injustice just freeze and do nothing. I would take this over any other damsel in distress situations.

@Vera @trirose On the contrary I quite like the fashion in this manhwa.
I agree it can seem a bit plain but at least it feels more "logic" than in most manhwa. First because all dresses have the same silhouette, which is historically accurate (no matter what time it is, fashion was all about silhouette,from what i heard at least) tho they should have bonnet if it was really accurate lmao, also because the story takes place after a big war so it makes sense for the clothes to be plain.

Tbh I think it's not a big deal, the artist is probably just not that interested in fashion, I really don't think it's ruining the story

@LadyCha I agree actually about the silhouettes!
A lot of other manhwa have this problem - an evening ball and half the women are in day dresses with sleeves and all, for example.
This one is at least consistent about the features of the fashion.

It's just that using a more significant print or smthn shiny like a tiara or a necklace would have been a great improvement on all the solid colors and stale prints, and helped express things,
because in historical themed stories, I think part of the appeal is seeing these small signifiers of status, and getting a hint for the character from them.
Would you have guessed the princess to be royalty or nobility if she wasn't announced?

can i just say i like how the duke immediately leapt to retaliate and then take care of our mc??? i think he does care about our mc by now lol. even the princess said she had never seen such a reaction from him. at the very least he respects her position as his wife! i also liked that the princess waited for the tea to cool down so ertha wouldn't get burned, and also she apologized beforehand for what she was about to test out. that was nice!! i don't think she has bad intentions. also she's warning ertha so...
