The sad thing about this... the guy in that situations would probably feel crushed for being mocked and called creepy. Having formed just a little bit of hope and it crashing down in that fashion can feel really bad. They don't know she is feeling anything, 'cause they just heard her say such things about them. Depending on the guy, would probably feel depressed and avoid her or blow up, kick her out and avoid her.
