To be honest, I had fairly lost interest in scanlation but they reminded me how much I like it when readers like me comment on the chapters whether positive or negative and share their very thoughts.

I don't know how true to life it is, but in manga (and anime), at least, there seems to be the belief that a girl wearing any type of underwear beyond run-of-the-mill, classic cut white panties (with some exceptions for pink, light blue, or striped) has some sexual experience; thongs, in particular, imply that she really gets around, especially if she's a gyaru of any kind.

On the other hand, regardless of design (outside of lace or cupless), a bra is just a bra and doesn't seem to really have any connotations of its own.
