@Askorti i get it. I get it but shouldn't there better way to say it. why he bring it up. The first thing he said is "I always here... (for her)" didn't relate to what she said. It just seem weird. Almost like translation error

EDIT: Read it again, and man is this girl dumb. I really think if the guy wasn't watching out for her, she would have stuck a fork in an outlet or wandered into traffic by now. As we say in the South: Bless her heart.

@Hasya yeah, but why ? she said "you and me are close like brother and sister", it don't have the right context to bring up the fact he always around helping her. That what bugging me.
Also, what he said didn't denies what she said, both are mean to be close to each other. Which even more weird
