I like this... This is the turning point in her life where she's getting to make her choices without it being handed to her. Will she do as her brother suggested and stay a pampered lady by finding a rich husband or take matters into her own hands and fight? The last panel is a good sign that she finds his words patronizing instead of comforting. She is learning quickly that she needs to change her own destiny.

i don't hate her brother bc he just wanted her to have a good life, who would expect the sudden downfall of the kingdom like this?

well it's normal that all characters would not be perfect at the start of a story so blaming them for being so-and-so should be refrained until the story progresses i guess XD

I'll be the contrarian and disagree with most people here, yeah he pampered the shit out of her but what is he supposed to do? tell his beloved little sister to risk her life and probably die in the process for his sake?

Like, knowing this character is 'has bad trait' doesn't means it 'bad character'
If they want all happy and perfect story maybe go for wholesome genre (like slice of life maybe)


The prince is very interesting. Love that transcend his own people... I still can't believe he 'sacrifice' the kingdom :')
And the princess... wow, judging by the panel, I guess she's very very mad at him
That kind of selfishness, the prince's wish might means she would be tortured by guilt (happy life) and burden (for both choice)... this is actually a difficult decision

He is a good brother but a terrible king.

I know many of us do not like that he is coddling her but he has been doing that to her since the princess's childhood. I find it would be more out of character if he suddenly demanded his little sister who knows nothing and (as of now) can do nothing to try and save the kingdom. This is a good turning point for her, whatever decision she makes now, will be something she chose for herself and not a comfortable choice provided by her brother.

Just apologises without any retribution? Yeah he's got his heart ripped out but he's still alive and sleeping while all his subjects are suffering. Terrible brother and king. He took zero responsibility at all and now everything falls on his sister who basically didn't know better from all of his coddling. Of course the blame is still partly hers for being useless in the first place but her brother is the origin of all this trouble. And that demon king.

How conflicting, that the last words (for now at least) that are meant with love could also be so crushing and humiliating, since he's saying she can't save them herself, there's no hope, and best she can ask for is a good marriage somehow (even more humiliating with what just happened with the last guy)
