Princess to the Rescue! - Ch. 9

oh damian is pretty irritating, i understand his intentions but telling her she can't do it is not helping at all if not making it worse

@icekatze I know that’s the reason I don’t like him. The only reason I’m not going off completely is the fact that such a flaw makes them more human. I just doubt the author is gonna handle this in the way it should be. With her growth being attributed to herself and not his negative reinforcement.

I'm not sure why they think I'm downloading an app to read comics. I will feel nothing reading illegal rips on an actual website where I can make sure my device is well protected since they can't even be arsed to have a working website.

I agree with what Damien is doing. It is better to hear the truth than be continously deceived.
I can understand how it can hurt someone's self-esteem but if they are this diluted, they really need a reality check.

Damien has a tough job ahead of him.
Damien is totally right, people who dislike him need to realise that the princess thinks of this as a somewhat tough adventure that will work out well. But as a sheltered person who knows nothing of reality, the one who actually has to clean up her mess is Damien since he has sworn to protect her. They don't have time for him to be nice and say things nicely when a dirty cloak and room is making her falter, he's blunt but what he is saying is the truth. He has only seen her being spoilt in the palace above, it's perfectly normal that he doubts her determination. Clearly this is her development arc and Daimen also needs time to see that she is serious about this.

I love how he treats our princess, that is better than she get used to things without even trying.

Being licensed in english does not mean it will be available everywhere, even so thanks for everything until now.

Actually, I'm not with Damien on this one. The way he's proceeding is wrong. He sees the resolve the princess has, and still tells her she's not made for this, so she won't make it, at the beginning of their quest. Sure, she's not yet used to this, which is why she is complaining, but she never once said "I wish I was home". Basically, Damien is acting like that one person who's telling someone they can't go in, for example, engineering, just because they're lazy, so their grades aren't up to par, therefore they should give up because "why work hard when you can remain as lazy as you are." It's a very unhealthy attitude, downgrading the other person and their goals.

Unless you guys have tons of cash then i dr reccommend pocket comics. It cost a pretty tidy sum
