Everything in this feels a bit sloppy, in a sort of amateurish way that's almost endearing. I would probably like it a lot regardless of my low critical regard for it, if the love interest wasn't—frankly—just a wee bit on the over-possessive creeper side? In the end, I have quite mixed feelings.
