idk. both the protagonist and the rival feels not right. the protag should just accept the rival's proposal and stop hurting herself with her self depreciation. but at the same time, the rival is one of the reason for the protag's self depreciation... this thing is very messed up

This is boring. The blonde girl is being portrayed as the perfect girl. She's never put in a situation where she is weaker than others. She is never shown to be insecure or embarrased or cowed by anyone. Characters that are constantly portrayed as perfect like that are boring.
