I would've enjoyed it even more if the ending's plot was completely romantic instead of dramatic, like for example, a sudden marriage proposal. I also wouldn't have minded a scene from the future when he's "caught up" with her and they're having a happy married life together. But the bottom line is that they're going to be okay.
