Why is everyone so upset at the anticlimactic ending of one chapter they haven’t even had time to really talk that much yet he was in the middle of a game that he had to go finish. Although the train thing was odd? Guess we will see where this goes, it will probably be the whole your a girl now uncomfortable tension in a hotel room where he has to sleep on the floor or something lol

Okay, I realized something. Beyond how shallow and undeveloped of a character Maya is, you know who else is super shallow and has almost zero personality? Ritsu. What was this reaction here? Hey, I'm actually Itsuki! Proceeds to perform fairly well in the rest of the baseball match.
This was almost comically bad. Like, maybe the author will develop his personality now? Maybe. A bit late, though.

man thought he was gay for his hildhood friend and now years later turns out they are trans (sort of) tf u mean its not a normal reaction

i thought we would have at least seen the game play out? maybe it would have felt less rushed and less anticlimactic if we saw him play and izuki cheering or smth. idk. it just felt Bad when it was confession and then suddenly, fast forward, game is over they lost lol

For what it's worth, the only mystery about Izuki's gender is what exactly caused the change. There was definitely a physiological change, though, if you re-read the start of chapter 2:
Also, Ritsu's wish seems like it actually happens after the gender change has started. He says in chapter 1 that he won't be able to play in the finals, which is the game where Izuki gets her first period, and the end of chapter 1 and the beginning of chapter 2 establish that the Fujiwara family was aware of the change before that point, which makes sense, since Izuki was going to tell Ritsu about it at the airport.
There's still room for Ritsu to have misplaced guilt over a wish that happens to fit the situation, or for the wish scene to have happened earlier than it seems, but based on the story so far I don't think it had anything to do with it.

The author dragged this way too much and when she finally told him the truth it was so anti-climatic and boring.
