They really just explained away everything in one chapter, huh? Seems like everything's wrapped up in a little bow without the heroes needing to really do much.
And both backstories were so short and out of nowhere that it was impossible to care about them at all (not even counting the fact that the villain's is ridiculous).
It really is a shame how so many horror stories like this just peter out, like the author didn't have anything in mind past the initial shock value of people dying in horrific ways.
Not that I had particularly high hopes for this one, just thinking out loud.

@KraZTaco @Hachi015 This series ended after volume 3. Normally, when a manga gets cancelled, the mangaka gets the news 4~5 chapters prior. Meaning, that many authors try to wrap up the remaining story in the last 4~5 chapters. Thus this ending...
