That's serious love...or perhaps obsession! I could see dying with his wife, but not so much for the sake of her keeping a necklace--even given the Egyptians' death/life after death beliefs. Like how Shou solved everything (except what our CMB cousin contributed) and then some!
A really interesting story! Liked the cameo crossover with CMB, too. Good mystery & history.
