Question on updated manga

I'm a recent transfer from the now (possibly) defunked kissmanga and sadly I got used to the update system they had in place. Does this site also inform its readers of updated chapters? And if yes is it done automatically or do I need to alter my settings? I really would like to know as I don't want to have to check nearly 300 manga every day to see if there are any updates.

So if I do that does the newer chapters show up at the top of my list or do I have to go through my MDList fully?

Click the Follows on the top navigation bar, your followed manga chapters are updated there. Yes, most latest chapters appear on top. Unfortunately, it doesn't differentiate between read and unread chapters, you have to rely on the eye icons.
